Imagine it. 1 squad, 51 people, 17 days, 1 kitchen, 6 bathrooms, 8 showers… Everyone trying to be on the same page.

This is all squad month. It’s the worst. 8 teams, 8 ministries to get to. It’s madness. 51 mouths to feed, at every meal. There’s no such thing as a quiet hour. Introvert time means you walk somewhere else when people come talk to you. Teams having team times in the pantry. Friendships being put on the line over Avalon and Dutch Blitz. Taco salad became lettuce and fritos for the last 8 people in line. Labeled personal snacks being demolished by anyone who sees them.

Why would anyone sign up for this?

This is all squad month. It’s the best. Legs being healed. Backs being healed. Wrists. Ankles. Neck pain. Healed. Walking with a large group of local children to their carepoint. Hearing 51 worshippers give all they have in praise to a Father who lavishes love upon love. Praying for each other, as the enemy comes at us. Coming together in unity, when the enemy tries to divide. Being Family. A really big Family. With a really good Father. Becoming more like Him.

This is all squad month. It’s worth it.
